Privacy, in plain language

Your inner life is not advertising inventory.

A Quiet Friend is designed to give you meaningful control over what is saved, what stays private, and what leaves your account.

What we collect

We collect the account details, preferences, conversations, journal entries, reminders, memories and subscription information needed to provide the features you choose to use.

Private Session conversations are not added to durable memory, summaries or future Journey context.

How we use it

Your information is used to run your companion experience, maintain the continuity you permit, provide requested reminders and reflections, and keep the service secure and reliable.

We do not sell intimate conversation content or use it to build advertising profiles.

Your controls

You can change memory preferences, review or delete saved memories, delete conversations and journal entries, export your available account data, and request account deletion from You.

Some limited security and billing records may be retained where necessary to prevent fraud, resolve payments, or meet legal obligations.

Safety and confidentiality

A Quiet Friend is an AI companion for everyday mental wellbeing, not a therapist, doctor, diagnosis service or emergency service. If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a trusted person nearby.

We keep operational logs focused on technical events such as request IDs, latency and error category. We do not log full intimate conversation text by default.
